Sir Richard Branson’s collection of unique retreats and luxury hotels are renowned for offering personalised, intimate experiences and thanks to newly lifted travel restrictions, people from the UK are once again able to book trips to stay at the collection’s luxury villa estate in Mallorca; Son Bunyola, and private island hideaways in the British Virgin Islands; Necker Island and Moskito Island.

Which Mallorca retreat would you choose?

Son Bunyola’s vast private gated estate covers 700 acres of stunning landscape and is home to three luxury villas, which can be rented individually or exclusively. The villas at this Mallorca retreat have fantastic views over the Mediterranean Sea and warm temperatures all year round, providing the perfect escape for families and friends looking for somewhere secluded to relax and spend time with loved ones.

Slightly further afield, those looking for barefoot luxury can book exclusive use of Sir Richard Branson’s 74-acre island home in the Caribbean – and after two years of reconstruction works to restore the island to its former glory following the devastating effects of Hurricane Irma, the island is looking more beautiful than ever.

The brilliant British Virgin Islands…

Located in the beautiful and unspoiled British Virgin Islands, sustainability has been firmly rooted at the heart of the rebuild and ongoing vision for the island, which has seen the installation of three giant wind turbines and an extensive solar farm, to enable the island to run on up to 100% renewable energy.

Also new to the BVI, and just two miles from Necker, is its sister island, Moskito Island – a marvellous Mallorca retreat. Made up of ten individual estates, all set within 125 acres of stunning paradise. Moskito Island boasts warm turquoise waters, beautiful trails and exclusive, remote seclusion. The island is due to officially launch later this summer, however, The Branson Estate which forms one of the ten individual luxury estates on the island entered the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio last year and is already available for private rental.

Vanessa Neal, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Virgin Limited Edition said: “It’s certainly been a challenging year for the travel industry and whilst we still need to carry some caution, we’re elated to see restrictions starting to lift and travel across the globe slowly opening up again. We are also incredibly excited to be able to safely welcome back guests from the UK to both Mallorca and the BVI.

“Our wonderful staff across all our properties, have been at the forefront of ensuring we have robust practices in place that not only adhere to all of the relevant local laws, but go above and beyond to ensure our guests have complete peace of mind and trust in everything we do, whilst still delivering the Virgin Limited Edition magic.”
